Sally Taylor

Sally Taylor is a musician and artist. Reluctant to sign to a major recording label Sally formed her own in 1998 and produced and recorded three albums (Tomboy Bride, Apt #6S & Shotgun). In 2012, she founded Consenses, a multidisciplinary, artistic collaboration that has engaged over 450 artists from around the world, of every medium and genre, bringing them together by asking them to interpret one another’s artwork in the vein of a game of “Telephone” and express it in their own medium. Through Consenses, it is Sally’s mission is to bridge our world’s deepening divides and to promote tolerance, empathy, and creativity by providing art as a language and a lens through which to better see ourselves, each other, and our world more compassionately and expansively. In this effort, Sally is dedicated to enlarging the scope of artistic collaboration, the recognition of art as a conversation, and the intimate exploration of humanity. Since 2016 Consenses, has been offered in schools as a curriculum serving as a vehicle for Social-Emotional Learning and multidisciplinary arts in schools around the country. https://consenses.org/
